I have always been drawn to yoga. I love how strong I feel after a great power yoga session, or how relaxed I feel after a restorative class. I love seeing my progress as I become more flexible. But throughout the years I would fall in and out of my practice. Something has shifted. A glorious change. I need yoga. Cliché as it is, yoga has changed my life. 

I want to share. I want to share the benefits of linking movement to breath. How this can improve all facets of life even, and especially, off the mat. I want to teach the connection to self and how to appreciate all your body can do. We live in such a comparative culture and spend more energy worrying about what we can’t do or haven’t done – we’ve stopped celebrating ourselves. Yoga is a wonderful journey. Every day is different. Some days you’re feeling strong and flexible, other days you need to settle into a calming, slow session and honour yourself right where you are. All worth celebrating. You are worth celebrating. 

I want to encourage others to try yoga. Yoga can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, menopause symptoms and so much more. Yoga can increase energy, confidence, physical strength, and flexibility. It’s a different journey for each of us. If you’re not interested yet, I would love the opportunity to give you insight into my practice. I hope you’ll join me.
